Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) is an Oslo-based Humanitarian organization working in the field of Mine Action. We have operated in Vietnam since 2007 with Representative office and projects in Hanoi, Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh and Kon Tum. We are seeking for qualified, enthusiastic, experienced Vietnamese applicants for the fulltime IM Officer (IMO) based in NPA Kon Tum project office with travels to fields, offices in provinces as work required.

Main Function:

IM Officer (IMO) will be in charge of operational data management and support managing operational tasks. The IMO will work under management line of the IMM and in line with current NPA policies and procedures to ensure quality information management products.

Specific duties

• Using ESRI products to prepare operational tasks; manage, review and analyses operational datasets timely and accurately; create operational reports in requirement. ESRI products such as ArcGIS Pro/ArcMAP/Survey 123/Field Map; operational tasks such as technical survey, non-technical survey, battle area clearance.
• Troobleshooting IT stuff in office
• Using and adminstrating IMSMA tool
  
• Maintaining, backup/restore GIS database
  
• Assisting IM Manager in training and fine-tuning IT systems/tools at need

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, or database, or equivalent experience of minimum two (02) years in data collection and management, especially with the use of GIS technologies
• Basic conversational English at work
• Experience in mine action operation would be an asset
• Skills in GIS, SQL, relational database, Microsoft products (e.g Office 365 and Windows) is an advantage
• Flexible, work hard, team work, work under pressure, and positive attitude
